In our footwear section we carry a variety of boots, shoes, sneakers, and sandals. EPO also has a nice selection of socks, laces, and treatment accessories to maintain and waterproof your footwear. Important selection should be taken as to the socks just as much as the actual boot or shoe. Liner socks are worn as a base layer next to the skin. Lightweight socks are a casual everyday sock or early season hunting when moisture wicking properties are needed more than warmth retention. Medium weight socks are the ideal for everyday hunting or hiking trips and for year round comfort and moisture control. Heavyweight socks are designed for superior warmth and moisture management. After you have selected the right weight it is time to look at the various material to suits your needs. Some people may require more wicking properties to keep their feet dry while others need more resilient padding to avoid bruising or blisters. EPO carries socks with various fibers used in sock construction. Note that most of the time several of these fibers are blended together to give a good combination of warmth, wicking, support and padding. Use the descriptions provided with the footwear and socks to determine what is appropriate for you purpose.
